Roberto Hernandez and family, opened El Pollo Fino in Anaheim, California. Roberto’s American dream was to serve the community with a family restaurant that served authentic, delicious, and affordable Mexican food. Throughout the years, Roberto, his wife, and 5 children worked at the restaurant incorporating nothing but the finest ingredients and proudly cooked everything to order from scratch. Best known for its delicately marinated and slow cooked charcoal- broiled chicken, El Pollo Fino also serves tacos, burritos, tostadas, quesadillas, tortas, and homemade corn tortillas. Today, Roberto is still living his American dream. He visits his restaurant daily and his children both work and manage the daily operations of the restaurant that has served the community for nearly 40 years. 

The hidden gem is located less than 2 miles from Disneyland and has garnered customers from all over Southern California and has been visited by many well-known celebrities and athletes such as: Hector Santiago (Baseball), Carlos Zarate (Boxing), Antonio Margarito (Boxing), Israel Vazquez (Boxing), Mil Mascaras (Wrestling), Pentagon Jr. (Wrestling) and many more.

 In 2005, El Pollo Fino was named the best hole in the wall restaurant by OC Weekly newspaper. It was recognized as one of the best top chicken restaurants in Orange County.
